An arrow. No cupid can leave home without it. In the 19th century men would offer their prospective wives 'tokens of friendship'. Often they came in the shape of pendents that could hold a flower, a photo or a lock of hair. Sometimes they came in the shape of an arrow, cupids unyielding sharp companions. Hit the target, win a heart. This one is covered with 23 graduated rose-cut diamonds, set in silver. The arrow itself is rose gold and the pin at the back is made out of yellow gold.
