This antique gold nineteenth century pin must have been made for a true dog lover. On a tiny platform attached to the pin, a long haired dog appears, eagerly awaiting to be played with. Front paws bent, tail up in the air, one can envision it jumping up for a ball or a stick. 

It measures about 5.5 cm and is mounted on a gold pin, to be worn on a lapel, tie or on a blouse.
