These 18 k gold leaf cut earrings were created in the 19th century. It was at a time when new techniques were being developed making the production of light weight jewels possible and easier. The earrings weigh around 4 grams. They are made out of 18 k gold and marked with French eagle essay marks. The earrings measure 5cm including bale and are 1,7 cm at their broadest point. One of the earrings has some small blemishes on the front and back, where the gold is slightly bent out of shape.
