The top part, or gallery, of this ring dates back to the 18th century. The band itself is most likely a later addition. At the center of the ring a cabochon moonstone is surrounded by six foil back rose cut  diamonds. The diamonds are set in water-lilly shaped leaves in gold, that amplify the flower-like character of the ring.

For the longest time, up the the early twentieth century traditional Spanish jewellery was produced. This ring is a typical example of the craft.
